Canadian Travelers: The age of majority in all Caribbean destinations is 18. On the resort, all students will have their ID checked during check in and those under the age of 18 will be provided with a special wristband so that the hotel staff and bartenders are aware who is allowed to consume responsibly and who is not.

American Travelers: The age of majority in all Caribbean destinations is 21. There are some exceptions for specific destinations and trips where age of majority is 18, however this will be explicitly communicated by your Trip Planner. On the resort, all students will have their ID checked upon check in and those under the age of 21 will be provided with a special wristband denoting them as such.

The wristbands are given to prevent the under age travelers from being served directly at the restaurants or bars on the resort. If a passenger who is the age of majority is found giving drinks to their under age friends, they do risk being removed form our program at their own expense.

General Code: Regardless of age there is also a code of conduct that every student must sign off on which outlines alcohol use and that any abuse of alcohol can lead to reduction of privileges up to and including removal from the trip.
